Job Openings in Boston
UNITE HERE has immediate openings for entry level and experienced union organizers to work on innovative, aggressive, hotel campaigns to organize hotel workers in Boston. Because Hotel corporations are global, hotel workers in major cities across Canada and the US are working together with community and global allies in order to build real power through our Hotel Workers Rising campaign.
It is these innovative organizing campaigns and our strong training program that make UNITE HERE an exciting place to work for social and economic justice. Responsibilities include identifying, recruiting and developing workplace leaders. The work involves house and workplace visits.
Qualifications:
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice.
- Ability to work long and varied hours.
Must have valid driver’s license.
